Hi,
I’m Amelie!
I was always a creative kid, but really got into photography in high school, volunteering for the media department to take photos of all the sports carnivals so I didn’t actually have to compete in any of them. It was a pretty successful plan - and I fell in love with it then and there.
Since then, I’ve taken all sorts of photos - sports, architecture, travel, automotive - you name it, I’ve probably seen it through a lens somewhere!
I went to university, and while I didn’t finish my degree, a studio photography unit inspired me to take it to the next level, and since I’ve had a wedding pinterest board since I was 10 years old, weddings and engagements felt like a naturally inspiring pathway - and the rest is history!

It’s often said that your wedding day is one of the biggest days of your life, but to many, the idea of that can be incredibly overwhelming, especially to those of us who might need a few extra accommodations to get through the day. But don’t get it twisted - your wedding day is about YOU, however you may want or need that to look.
I welcome neurodiverse couples and strive to create a structured, low-pressure experience from enquiry to gallery delivery. If you need things explained clearly, communicated in writing, or planned in as much detail as possible - I’m your gal! I’ll be by your side through most of the day, so I will also aim to be your biggest advocate throughout the day.
Phone calls or in-person consultations not your thing? I’ve got it covered! We can communicate via e-mail or text if you prefer, and I’ll send you questionnaires you can think about and fill out in your own time.
Too many questions being thrown at you while you get ready? I’ve got you! I carry earplugs on-hand and I’ll send the questions to your MOH or best man.
Need a break between formal photos and your reception? No worries! Go watch the sunset with your soulmate, I’ll make sure nobody disturbs you.
As an ADHD and Autistic woman myself, I understand firsthand how overwhelming life can be sometimes, but it has made me so passionate about making the most special moments more accessible, because everyone deserves to have something beautiful to look back on.
My goal on your special day is to be supportive yet unobtrusive - so I can capture your stunning day and you can feel as present and confident as possible!
